Korea Racing Authority and Triplet Sign MOU for Global Expansion of Korean Horse Racing AI

The Korea Racing Authority announced it signed an MOU with Triplet for the overseas expansion of Korean horse racing AI technology on the 2nd.

This agreement was signed to pursue the successful global expansion of horse racing AI technology between Triplet, which participated in building an AI judging review system for horse racing, and the Korea Racing Authority.

Last year, the Korea Racing Authority became the world's first to introduce an AI-based horse racing judging review system through public-private cooperation with Triplet, which possesses AI video analysis technology. This dramatically reduced the time required for tasks previously performed manually and improved accuracy to approximately 90%. The system was presented at the International Stewards Committee and attracted significant interest from racing organizations worldwide, including the Hong Kong Jockey Club.

Through this MOU, the Korea Racing Authority and Triplet plan to drive the successful global expansion of Korean horse racing AI technology while accelerating the advancement of AI technology currently deployed in Korea. They have also pledged to cooperate in horse racing and IT fields based on their respective capabilities and resources, and plan to actively develop and pursue private enterprise support projects together.

Song Dae-young, Head of Horse Racing at the Korea Racing Authority, stated, "Based on our experience of combining innovative AI technology from a Korean private company with horse racing at the Korea Racing Authority, we will spare no effort in supporting successful overseas expansion."
